St John's Thornham nurtures 120 pupils aged 4-11, in a caring, community-focused environment.
Established in 1849, and a cherished part of Rochdale's community. The school building is a combination of an old Victorian building with modern adaptations to help provide fantastic learning environments for children.
The surroundings also add a valuable learning space which helps support teaching and learning across all areas of the curriculum including Forest Schools, as well as enrichment activities such as gardening, den building, bird watching and additional sports. All the while over looking farmers fields and beautiful views up to Tandle Hill.
