ICT

Highly experienced ICT staff supporting our schools

ICT support can often be costly and inconsistent, but within our Trust, we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of highly skilled and experienced ICT professionals. They not only keep our systems running smoothly but also provide guidance and advice tailored to the individual needs of each school.

Our approach is flexible: the level of support offered is shaped by what each school requires. Our secondary schools act as ICT ‘Hubs’ for their local Primary Schools, creating strong, collaborative networks where expertise is shared, and support is always close at hand.

Cyber Protection

It is our priority to make sure we are not a target to unwanted attention from cyber criminals and we have all the controls we can put in place to prevent the most common attacks. That starts with a good culture around recognising risk, training people, password security, early warning subscription, multifactor authentication as well as a sound, timely and sustainable patch management system

Wealth of knowledge & connection

With the Trust-wide help-desk and the ‘How to Guides’ available to all, together with the network of people across our organisation, there is always someone to turn to. The connectivity of the network, the ability to log on from any school, or virtually from anywhere off-site, and the connectedness of SharePoint mean there isn’t much we can’t find an answer to or support on. And if we haven’t got an answer internally, then we are connected to engineers who are experts in networking and security when it comes to the most complex situations.

MARK COUPER-BARTON, HEADTEACHER
MAYFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL

We believe that ICT should be a source of support, not stress. That is why, within our framework, things are set up to make processes as easy and stress-free as possible for our schools and staff. We believe that because our strong systems sit within a culture of honesty, transparency and trustworthiness, ICT is seldom, if ever, a barrier
